IDIQ Contracts

Omitron has established partnerships with other companies to provide our engineering services to government customers. Omitron is currently a member of the following IDIQ contracts:


NESDIS BPA

NOAA NESDIS Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)

NOAA NESDIS has awarded Omitron a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) GSA contract to provide Professional Engineering and Technical Support Services to NESDIS in all phases of the management, planning, specification, procurement, development, implementation, compliance with regulations, and ongoing support process for new and/or upgraded environmental satellite programs and ground systems, data collection systems, and data processing systems. This work includes assisting NESDIS in defining the need for new or upgraded systems, generating requirements, generating Statements of Need and Statements of Work, monitoring the contractors' design, development and testing work, participating in system integration and testing, and participating in Government system and operational testing, and providing training materials. Omitron assists NESDIS in project management, strategic planning, requirements management, organizational development, program development and activities, reporting via generation of OMB Exhibit 300s, contingency planning, Program Planning and Budgeting System (PPBS) activities, Construction Work In Progress (CWIP) tracking, accounting, reconciliations and financial support, facility upgrade planning, compliance with federal export control (ITAR/EAR) regulations, and performing special studies as directed by NESDIS. The BPA contract has a maximum value of $9.1 million, with a period of performance through May 19, 2016.


METS-II — ASRC Management Services

NASA/GSFC Multi-Disciplinary Engineering and Technology Services II (METS-II) Contract

Omitron, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract by ASRC Management Services under the METS-II IDIQ contract to provide systems engineering services to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. The METS-II task order contract provides engineering services supporting the formulation, design, development, flight and non-flight fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight and ground system hardware and software. In support of Goddard's Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate, the ASRC Management Services team will develop and validate new technologies for future space and science missions. The Multi-Disciplinary Engineering and Technology Services II contract has a maximum value of $250 million, with a period of performance through August 31, 2015.


MSES — SGT, Inc.

NASA/GSFC Mechanical Systems Engineering Services II/A (MSES II/A) Contract

Omitron, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract by SGT under the MSES II/A IDIQ contract to provide systems engineering services to NASA/GSFC. The MSES II/A task order contract provides engineering services and related services to the Mechanical Systems Division and related organizations throughout NASA/GSFC, as required, for the formulation, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification, and operations of space flight and ground system hardware and software. The team will also develop and validate new technologies to enable future space and science missions.

Under the MSES II/A subcontract, Omitron will provide systems engineering and software services to Goddard's mission projects. The period of performance continues through May 14, 2012.


USAMS II — Booz Allen Hamilton

United States Strategic Command Systems and Mission Support (USAMS) II Contract

Omitron, Inc., along with 27 other companies, is teamed with Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) as the prime for the USAMS II Contract effort (Contract number FA4600-08-D-9000). The USSTRATCOM Systems and Missions Support (USAMS II) contract provides non-personal, advisory and assistance services in support of studies, system engineering and technical analysis. This is end-to-end systems and mission support includes all USSTRATCOM, their component commands, supporting and supported agencies, and the Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA). All operational and intelligence requirements will be satisfied through technically feasible, integrated, cost-effective system improvements, acquisition recommendations, logistics support, integration, and procedural analysis. The support will consist of planning and analyzing engineering and engineering guidance; establishing system integration, information assurance, software design and development, configuration management (CM); and testing and certifying USSTRATCOM/AFWA systems and procedures. USAMS II will also provide across-the-board technical expertise to ensure new technology, system specifications, upgrades, enhancements, tests, certifications, and operational procedures are in accordance with requirements.

USAMS II consists of six Multiple Award (MAC) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Performance Based Contracts with a 12-month base ordering period beginning 1 October 2008-30 September 2009 with four consecutive one-year option periods. The estimated value, including all options, for all task orders that may be awarded is $900,000,000.
