NASA has awarded Omitron, Inc. the Flight Dynamics Support Services (FDSS) II contract to support the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD. The five-year FDSS II indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a maximum ordering value of $180 million. The FDSS II contract consists of Flight Dynamics Facility and Earth Observing System operations support, flight project support, analysis and technology development, and flight dynamics systems engineering and conjunction assessment risk analysis for NASA missions. The Omitron team will provide for the planning, designing, implementation, enhancement, evaluation, integration, testing and conducting of the flight dynamics services and systems at the GSFC for the Navigation and Mission Design Branch and the Attitude Control Systems Engineering Branch within the Mission Engineering and Systems Analysis Division.

Work performed under this contract spans the entire mission lifecycle, from concept studies and requirements analysis through routine operations and end-of-life disposal operations.
The 45-day phase-in begins September 15th with contract performance commencing November 1st. The work will be performed at GSFC and company facilities in Beltsville, MD and Colorado Springs, CO. Subcontractors to Omitron are a.i.solutions, Astrorum Consulting and Thinking Systems.
