On Jan 25, 2022, (OPR) a mentor protégé joint-venture with Omitron Inc. and Pearl River Technologies LLC receives a Letter of Commendation for exceptional performance in support of the James Webb Space Telescope from Karen Richon, the JWST Flight Dynamics Lead. “The management of the task and coordination between the analysis, development and operations groups was outstanding. Contractor management significantly contributed to a near-seamless integration of the civil servants into the JWST operations support. The civil servant team gained valuable experience in supporting launch and mission operations. The closer relationship between the 595 branch members and FDF operations members will facilitate support for future missions……..Thank you for the hard work and dedication the FDSS III contractor team has showed for JWST. The mission wouldn’t have the glowing press reviews and success through these first few weeks of this NASA flagship mission without the FDF and FDT support from FDSS III.”

OPR was awarded the Flight Dynamics Support Services III contract in 2019.
