Omitron has a significant role across the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Sensor Engineering Sustainment Operational Support and Repair contract (SENSOR) mission areas. These include the GEODSS product line, Eglin SLEP, operations at the JICSpOC, and analysis and sustainment on the Nontraditional Data Pre-Processor (NDPP) and BMEWS engineering groups. Omitron is performing on the SENSOR contract primarily in the following areas:
- Performing systems analyses, planning, and integration activities for all systems
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting system performance metrics, anomalies, and trends on various systems
- Responding to Government tasking for real-world and what-if modeling and simulation initiatives
- Performing studies to assess system performance, evaluate alternatives, conduct tradeoff analyses, and address other sustaining engineering issues
- Providing engineering for requirements identification and planning for sustainment, life extension, and modernization initiatives
- Software development and test support for various SENSOR sustainment efforts
- UEWR anomaly analysis and resolution support
- GEODSS and Eglin SLEP support
